
TAPASYA is a national level organization came into existence in 1998 and got legal entity in the year 2001. Under the leadership of Mr.Ramesh Agarwal, President of the Society, it has started serving to the rural poor communities with people's participation being dedicated itself to the welfare, development and empowerment of women, children and marginalized groups in the society, through education & training, collective mobilization and awareness creation, income generation facilities and by the provision of support service with the representation in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharasthra, Orissa, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Haryana and Rajasthan while at present TAPASYA is actively involved and launching welfare programmes in the four states namely; Jharkhand, Maharasthra, Orissa and Chhatisgarh etc.
It has kept its relentless effort giving emphasis on income generating activities that includes production of industrial components in ancillary units, handlooms, handicrafts, agro-based activities and self-employment ventures and its targeted areas & sectors are untouched and uncovered, in the entire process of development and social welfare through innovative strategies. The name of the organization TAPASYA stands for untiring efforts to meet the objectives of the organization by way of making the clientless group aware about their privileges and sense of duty to become socio-economically developed.
